These clear acrylic blocks are used for mounting our clear stamp set dies, ready for printing. The stamp die image to be used is peeled off the storage sheet, then positioned onto the clear acrylic stamp block ready for inking and then printing. For use with Encaustic Art wax colours it is important to use a water based dye ink and not a pigment ink. This will avoid any risk of smudging when the molten waxes are worked over the dried ink of the stamped image. After use clean off any remaining ink then peel the die off the block and replace it on the storage sheet. These clear stamps allow exact positioning by sight. The clear mounting blocks let you see precisely where the image is going to be stamped.
